Gratitude Writing

I have always enjoyed writing. Growing up I watched my Mum and Aunt writing in journals and so I was also encouraged to write about my feelings and everyday doings. I have many journals from over the years and now as an adult, I still journal and expanded into blogging as well. Having suffered with on/off depression growing up, which I now realise was the precursor to Bipolar 2, writing has always helped me to express what's going on inside. I am quite an open and honest person so writing a blog was naturally the next step for me I guess.  Over the last few months, I came across the women at Awesome Inc. who make gratitude journals. I believe in appreciating every little thing in life so this was something that I was drawn to straight away. Welcome To My World

Welcome to my new blog! I am so excited to be writing again. The last time I blogged was 2013 and so many new and wonderful things have happened in my life since then.  About two or three years ago, I taught myself how to crochet, which I thoroughly love and enjoy. Coming from a long line of amazing women who quilt, crochet, sew, knit, draw or just do basically anything crafty, I thought the gene had skipped me altogether so when it came completely natural, I was over the moon to say the least. So no doubt there will be plenty of crochet posts and updates on what I'm up to there. I have now become involved with a rescue organisation called Kitt Kat Care; fostering mostly cats/kittens who have been on death row. Occasionally we have the odd puppy or doggy too. Through the organisation, they are all vet checked, wormed, fleaed, microchipped, vaccinated and desexed while in foster care and then get rehomed through application to wonderful new furever homes.
